Road Tour Staff – New York Rangers (Tarrytown, NY)

 

Description:  The Road Tour Staff will work part-time in the community as a representative of the NY Rangers. Interacts and engages with event attendees, promoting the NY Rangers and the sport of hockey. Responsibilities include set up and breakdown of event activities and distribution of promotional materials. Participates in other projects as assigned.

Requirements:  The ideal candidate must be at least 18 years old and have been active in the community. Must be enthusiastic and energetic while interacting with members of the community and be able to work with children. Experience in hockey is required as well as strong knowledge of the NY Rangers. Men/Women’s NCAA/ACHA or Junior/Prep School hockey experience is preferred. Must have flexible availability including nights and weekends. Must be able to provide transportation to and from Tarrytown, NY; all events begin and conclude in Tarrytown, NY.

Production Intern KickTV-6 month requirement – Soccer United Marketing/Major League Soccer (New York, NY)

Job Title
Production Intern

Summary
Production intern will work with the newly formed KickTV content team for YouTube partner channel. Will assist with production, post-production, YouTube coordination, and social marketing of video projects for digital distribution.

Director of Production, KickTV [Nelson Castro]

Primary Responsibilities
Assist production of original video content for KickTV YouTube Channel
Capture and log footage for post-production team
Assist on studio and field shoots
Perform research for content development
Aid in social media marketing pushes

Other Roles
As deemed necessary by Director of Production, KickTV

Required Skills
Working knowledge of Final Cut Pro and/or Adobe Premiere
Understanding of different video specs and codecs
Solid Photoshop experience
Understanding of FTP file transfer process
Excellent time management, work ethic, and team collaboration skills
Ability to work on several projects at once while meeting strict deadlines
Great understanding of social media platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter, etc.

Preferred Skills
Knowledge and passion for International and Major League Soccer
Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects (or similar) for titling, text, and motion graphics
Ability to shoot with various HD Cameras, including sound and lighting techniques
Both studio and field production experience, experience with multi-camera setup
Concept, produce, and edit original content independently, managing projects from start to final edit
Experience with sports editorial and production
