Responsibilities
Programming College Unit Intern: Research & ratings projects for all college sports, track competitive college network programming, NCAA Championships project work. General Acquisitions Intern: Programming projects related to ESPN’s major summer events: French Open, Wimbledon, MLB All-Star Game, European Soccer Championships and British Open Golf. Ratings analysis, travel packets, misc. projects Content Screening Intern: Screens all live and taped content on both domestic and international platforms. Strong sports knowledge. Assist assigned sport specific teams on special projects, scheduling and overall sport management. Digital Media Programming Intern: Programming projects and program schedules related to summer events with content on the following digital platforms: ESPN3.com, Watch ESPN, ESPN on Demand and ESPN Mobile TV.
Basic Qualifications
*You must be currently matriculating within a degree program and in good academic standing; available for employment within 12 months of the internship. *Graduation date of August 2012, December 2012, or May 2013. *Intern must be able to provide his/her own transportation to and from work. (Note: there is no public transportation available in this area)
Preferred Qualifications
Some experience in television programming or production; some business experience in a professional office environment Communications or related majors
